It’s 2020 y’all. Removable wallpaper is here to take the win and has finally entered the 21st century.
Depending on the vibe and style of your home, there are SO MANY fabulous, bold removable wallpaper patterns as well as wall murals to choose from, it’s hard to know where to begin.
But the future is now and it’s a glorious time to be alive.
No more of the commitment (and labor!) of a traditional wallpaper — and when the time comes, the headache of removing it. So if you’re in a rental? Boom. Removable wallpaper that can easily peel off when it’s time to move out is extra appealing. Or if you’re a home owner who’s just super into the ease of changing your style as often as possible - you’ll also be a fan!
We love all of the classic geometric patterns, especially those Gatsby 20s deco patterns - but we’re just as into the bold colors and over the top funky patterns. They definitely nod to the maximalist design trend that we love so much.
We’ll all die one day anyway. . . May as well have a home that reflects your personality.
Here’s some of our favorites that we divvied up by category.

If you’re not ready to commit to an entire wall but you want to dabble in a bright and bold pattern, consider applying it to your stairs for a fun little pop or on a small accent panel wall like shown above.
The dreamy, buttery, vintage-inspired peel + stick removable wallpapers, shown above, are — wait for it. . .
from Walmart!
Designed by drew barrymore for her “flower home” collection at walmart.
I actually never knew Walmart dabbled in the wallpaper biz, and I was amazed to see how many cool peel and stick patterns they had on their website.

Other Tips & Ideas:
MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE!
Lots of the patterns available come in various sized panels. Measure out the dimensions of your space and compare it with the dimensions the panels you’ll be ordering.
Order a bit more (about 10% extra) than the exact amount needed for your space. It’s a good “just in case” and will help you line up your patterns and seams more easily if you have a little more wallpaper to work with.
Grab a friend and make it a party! Two sets of hands are definitely better than one if you’re installing larger panels.
Make sure your walls are in good shape first. If you apply a removable wallpaper to crumbly plaster walls or walls that aren’t in great shape they may not be the best candidates for an adhesive wallpaper.
Save the scraps! There are so many cool ways you can re-purpose those leftover bits: to accent drawers, stairs, bookcases, and more!
