Where Glam + Boho Eclectic Meet: Rooms To Copy Right Now

I could go on and on and on and on and on about bohemian design. Because beautifully, there are so many ways to do it.

SO I WILL!

Today we’re honing in on spaces that have a certain bohemian glamor to them.

Some are timelessly chic, or effortlessly quirky — but they’re all quietly and eclectically glamorous in their own special way.

Whether it’s done through color usage — like soft pinks + golds… or whether it’s darker, dreamier, moodier spaces that are softly lit and thoughtfully designed; they’re all equally swoon-worthy. All sprinkled with a mish-mash of furniture + decor that whispers out old Hollywood vibes.

What do you think so far?

I don’t know about you but I’d take every single one of these rooms in a heart beat. . . It definitely speaks to the weird collector in me and I’m all about the funky blend of colors and and furniture and artwork and details.

I think deep down I’m more of a maximalist than a minimalist. How about you?

The bedroom is the embodiment of a warm cup of tea. Peep the side view and head on view in the two images below.

Love how the ceiling was also wrapped in that chocolate bar cocoa color. Painting the walls, let alone the ceiling, a dark color - isn’t usually a designers’ first choice as we know, because it makes the room seem smaller. But it totally works here.

With the combination of thick white molding, the tall windows that flood natural light in, and the whitewashed fireplace, your eye is given just enough of a break and make all of the rich tones shine even more.

How dreamy is the studio below? The converted firehouse is now the 670 square foot home and artist studio for creator and interior designer, Bailey Li.
