What do you think? Some colors and tones vibe more with me than others. I’ve had a serious thing for green rooms for many years — my fiancé knows I’ll one day have my dark green room and he’s excited for it, too. I also had a dark crimson red bedroom for a few years in high school. (I was doing a lot of black and white film photography at the time and I thought the color looked good and made my artwork pop against the saturated walls.) While I probably wouldn’t go that dark red again, I do really love the feel of the orange, coral, and magenta spaces.

Monochromatic design is a simple way to make a bold & sophisticated statement that looks chic, intentional, and luxe.
If you’re considering trying a monochrome space think about a color you love/love to decorate with and work with its closest shades & tones to create a dreamy color-infused room that brings you joy.
